1. Purpose & Platform Role
OfficialCutCost (“the Platform”) operates as an independent business directory and vendor verification platform designed to promote transparency, credibility, and accountability among listed vendors.
Verification is a privilege granted at the Platform’s discretion and may be reassessed, downgraded, suspended, or revoked.
OfficialCutCost may:
- Screen vendors based on submitted information and documentation
- Display verification status and category listings
- Enable complaint reporting and internal review
OfficialCutCost does not:
- Guarantee product/service quality
- Act as a court of law or legal adjudicator
- Guarantee transaction outcomes
- Act as a payment processor or escrow service (unless explicitly stated)
- Become a contracting party in transactions between vendors and customers
2. What “Verified” Means
When a vendor is marked verified on OfficialCutCost, it means the vendor passed the Platform’s screening checks at the time of approval based on submitted information.
Verification does not constitute endorsement, partnership, warranty, or performance guarantee.
3. Vendor Eligibility Standards
Verified vendors must continuously:
- Represent products/services honestly
- Communicate respectfully and professionally
- Maintain reachable contact details
- Respond promptly to customer issues
- Cooperate with OfficialCutCost reviews/investigations
- Avoid conduct that may damage platform integrity
Verification is not permanent and may be reassessed.
5. Complaint Submission & Investigation
When a complaint is submitted:
- The Platform may notify the vendor
- The vendor may be required to respond within a stated timeframe
- Evidence may be requested from both parties
- The Platform conducts an internal review and records findings
OfficialCutCost may facilitate communication but does not act as a court.
Failure to respond may be treated as non-cooperation.
6. Enforcement Actions
Where misconduct, non-cooperation, or policy violations are substantiated, OfficialCutCost may:
- Remove or downgrade verification status/badges
- Suspend or remove listings
- Mark vendors as non-compliant internally
- Restrict re-application
- Retain internal records for platform protection
In urgent cases, action may be taken without prior notice.
7. Fraud & Criminal Conduct
If credible evidence of fraud, scam activity, identity theft, or financial misconduct is discovered, the Platform may suspend/remove the vendor and may report the matter to relevant authorities where appropriate and supported by credible evidence.
8. Customer Dispute Clarification
OfficialCutCost does not hold customer funds and does not process vendor-customer transactions.
Where misconduct is substantiated, the Platform may require the vendor to address the issue directly (including refund/remediation where appropriate) and may suspend/terminate the listing. OfficialCutCost does not provide refunds on behalf of vendors and does not assume financial liability for vendor transactions.
9. Limitation of Liability
OfficialCutCost is not liable for vendor-customer disputes, losses arising from transactions, delayed deliveries, dissatisfaction, or indirect/consequential damages. Users engage vendors at their own discretion and risk.
10. Badge & Brand Misuse
Vendors may not misuse the Platform name/logo/badge or claim endorsement beyond verification status. Misuse may result in termination and potential legal action.
11. Documentation & Data Retention
The Platform may retain submitted documentation and internal misconduct records for verification, compliance, and integrity protection, handled in accordance with applicable privacy standards.
12. Policy Updates
OfficialCutCost may update this policy at any time. Continued listing/use constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
